Effects of Combined Application of Solid Pyrolysis Products and Digestate on Selected Soil Properties of Arenosol and Plant Growth and Composition in Laboratory Experiments

Biochars as soil amendments have been reported to improve properties and may an important role in the mitigation of consequences climate change. As a novel approach, this study examines whether biochar digestate co-application can be utilized cost-effective, renewable plant nutrients. The effects two types biochar—wood chip (WBC) animal bone (ABC), applied alone or combination with anaerobic digestate—on physicochemical properties, on levels selected elements, growth yields ryegrass were studied laboratory experiments.
